Jeff has an uncle living in the Midwest who hates winter (cough cough… Uncle Randy… cough, cough). His Facebook feed is filled with anti-winter memes, which is kind of understandable – winter in that part of the country can be punishing. And we’ve lived through enough sodden Seattle winters to understand how it can suck your soul.
But in the mountains, ah the mountains. If you can get above the snow line, winter is another story. Everywhere you turn, there is fun to be had (even if you have to be a little creative). This week, to our surprise, we both admitted to one another that winter is our favorite season.
