Check out this race we just signed up for.  Well, “race” might not be the best description.  More like slog.  It’s called the Survivor Mud Run.

The idea is you run in big groups through mud themed obstacles.  Sometimes you crawl.  Sometimes you are up to your armpits in goo.  Oh, and people tend to dress up and “compete” while wearing fairy wings, or full pig costumes or whatever.

Races take place all over the US – well technically just Washington, California, Colorado, Texas and Florida (sorry New York!).   Stay tuned for a report on Seattle’s event this June.
